Trust & Policies
Contributor Guidelines
BuyerProbe contributors should help readers make better buying decisions with original, practical, and honest guidance.
Original Buyer Guidance
Contributors must provide original and useful buyer guidance. Content should explain practical tradeoffs, buyer fit, limitations, and decision points instead of repeating product marketing.
Conflicts and Relationships
Contributors must disclose conflicts, brand relationships, free products, payment, ownership interests, employment connections, or other relationships that could affect coverage.
Accuracy Standards
Contributors must avoid plagiarism, false testing claims, unsupported "best" claims, misleading comparisons, copied reviews, and claims that cannot be backed up with reasonable evidence.
Contributors should not claim hands-on testing unless they actually used or tested the product. Research-based guidance should be presented as research-based guidance.
Links and Promotion
Contributors cannot add affiliate links, tracking links, promotional links, self-serving links, discount codes, brand placements, or similar material without BuyerProbe approval.
Editorial Review
BuyerProbe may edit, reject, update, label, or remove contributor content to protect readers and maintain site standards.
